We are excited to announce that the dance performance group WORLD ORDER will take the stage during the halftime show at QUINTET.5, scheduled for October 23.
Formed in 2009 by Genki Sudo—former MMA fighter and current K-1 producer—WORLD ORDER is a unique dance performance unit known for its distinct visual identity and artistic expression. Dressed in suits inspired by the image of the “hard-working Japanese businessman” as seen from abroad, the group combines high-level physical ability, synchronized robotic movements, and catchy pop dance music to create a one-of-a-kind performance style. Their work has captivated audiences not only in Japan but around the world.
In 2012, WORLD ORDER set a Guinness World Record for the largest group performing a robot dance, with 647 participants. Their signature song “HAVE A NICE DAY” has garnered over 52 million views on YouTube, drawing international attention and acclaim.
As QUINTET embarks on its global expansion with its first-ever event in the Middle East—aiming to showcase “Japanese style” to the world—WORLD ORDER is also making a powerful return to the stage. This collaboration was made possible by the shared vision and values between QUINTET and WORLD ORDER, both committed to sharing Japanese culture with a global audience through unique expression and performance.
Don’t miss this spectacular halftime show that’s sure to leave a lasting impression on fans around the world.
Genki Sudo’s Comment
As a former grappler myself, I’m genuinely looking forward to this event. QUINTET is exactly the kind of tournament I would have loved to compete in if I were still active. Team competitions are always thrilling, and I can’t wait to see the 5-on-5 battles unfold.
Hope to see you all at the event in Dubai!
