Daizo Ishige has been confirmed as an additional member of TEAM TRI-FORCE for QUINTET FIGHT NIGHT 7 in TOKYO at Korakuen Hall on July 13 (Tue).

Ishige has a background in Judo and has used that foundation to move into Sambo and MMA. He is also an accomplished welterweight champion in Pancrase. He joined TRI-FORCE in 2017 and also won the ALL JAPAN Brazilian JIU-JITSU Championship. He is also currently the representative of TRI-FORCE Jiu-Jitsu Ojima.

TRI-FORCE representative Mitsuyoshi Hayakawa felt that he needed a veteran to join the team, so he chose Ishige who is an accomplished contender. He said, "I think Ishige is one of the best fighters on the team, with solid experience in Judo, Sambo, and MMA. In grappling, experience matters, so I believe someone like him who's capable of various skills including No-Gi will put up a superb fight."

Ishige, who is competing with Hayakawa's full trust, said, "I'm happy to be able to fight again on the big stage of QUINTET at Korakuen Hall. I will do my best to contribute to a team victory." We look forward to seeing Ishige providing moral support for TEAM TRI-FORCE and contributing to a team victory.
