QUINTET is starting off 2021 with a women's tournament! It was announced that "QUINTET FIGHT NIGHT 6 in TOKYO" will be held at EX THEATER ROPPONGI on Friday, March 12. This will be the second women's tournament, and the first time for QUINTET to have 3 teams battling for the crown.
Of the three teams, participation by AACC, led by mixed martial artist Hiroyuki Abe, as TEAM AACC has been confirmed. AACC has a reputation as a place where strong female fighters gather, and with the third Rizin Women's Super Atomweight Champion Ayaka Hamasaki on their team as well as SB World Women's Flyweight Champion Rena also participating in their training, it will be exciting to see how Representative Abe organizes the team from such a strong group of fighters. The remaining two teams are still being worked out. We will let you know as soon as they are decided.
