The judo Olympic gold medalist Masato Uchishiba will join as the 5th fighter for Michihiro Omigawa's TEAM WOLF at the Coroblock presents QUINTET FIGHT NIGHT 5 in TOKYO on Tuesday, October 27 at Korakuen Hall.
Uchishiba is a two-time judo Olympic gold medalist in the men's under 66 kg division at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. After announcing his retirement, he has expanded his career in the Jiu-Jitsu world as well. He coached and served a full term as the general manager of Kyrgyzstan's National Judo Federation and now works at a hot spring inn in Kumamoto.
Uchishiba has decided to return to the ring this time to fight alongside his judo senior, Omigawa. Let's see how the competition unfolds as Uchishiba joins as a member of the team.
